This is an incredibly unique and rare book printed by Singer and distributed to new salesmen. It was intended to educate the new employee with the process of selling Singer’s products and setting up and displaying a Singer store/shop.
Each section is extremely thorough and covers topics such as closing a sale, common objections to the purchase of a Singer machine, demonstrating the machine, and organizing a tidy window display.
This would not have been a book available to the public and copying/redistribution was expressly prohibited. This hard-cover book contains 142 pages and does not contain any copyright info or printing dates as it was designed only for intra-company use. Each book was numbered, and this one specifically is #3381. We have only had a few of these books come through the shop in the past 20 years.
The book is in nice condition with some minor cover wear. The pages inside are in excellent unstained condition.
