Scanfil 50wt 2-ply Organic Cotton thread is proven for construction seams, quilt piecing, bobbin fill, quilt bindings, heirloom stitching, applique, paper piecing, overlocking. Will not shrink or bleed with washing. Recommended machine needle size: US 12-14/ NM 80-90.
SCANFIL® Organic Cotton threads are certified in meeting the stringent requirements of the Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS). Scanfil Organic Cotton threads are also Oeko-Tex Certified for Standard 100. These threads are produced using the most premium cotton available, Pima Organic Cotton fiber that is grown without the use of chemical pesticides. The extra long staple Supima Organic Cotton is mercerized and spun using proprietary spinning process for ultra smooth “hand” and virtually no lint. All shades are achieved using only GOTS approved dyes and coatings with non-toxic solutions, including vegan solutions. Scanfil spools and cone cores are both biodegradable.
NOTE: If you’re going to use a finer thread when sewing with your Featherweight, be sure to use the same thread for both your upper thread and bobbin thread. Bobbin tension might need to be adjusted ever so slightly.

Returns
Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us because of the involvement of many entities, including the factory as well as our warehouse. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It's possible that you may not receive your order once the order has been made.
Our policy runs for 30 days. If you have passed 30 days without a trace since the purchase however, we're unable to give you a refund or exchange.
In order to be eligible for a refund your product must be unopened and in the same condition as when you received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging.
