Singer Featherweight 221 Sewing Machine, AF876*** The Singer Featherweight Shop

We are very excited to add this lovely Featherweight 221 to the site.  Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned, and sampled – rest assured, this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case.  Powerful original 110v motor that has been rewound to work at optimum speed and torque.

AF882*** indicates an original production commission date of April 1, 1941, and is given a Grade 8-.  Be sure to click on any image to view the reflective beauty of this Singer Featherweight machine.  The machine is truly in gorgeous condition with just a small amount of wear marks near the back.  It was difficult to capture in the photographs, actually.  Decals are perfect!

The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so you won’t have to worry about tension when you receive your machine, but having a numbered tension dial will make it easier to set it back should you need to adjust it for any reason.

You will notice that this machine is fitted with a scrolled faceplate and the original case includes the tray for holding the box of attachments, manual, etc..
