The Featherweight Shop’s machine shipping staff is out of the shop the first week of February, and this machine will ship the second week of February (7-11).
This Singer Featherweight 221K is in great condition, and it was commissioned on July 22nd, 1952 at the Singer factory in ‘K’ilbowie, Scotalnd! Serviced and cleaned inside and out – this 221K will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with an original 220-volt motor that has been rewound to work at 110 voltage with optimum speed and torque. American and Canadian customers will not need to worry about needing an electrical converter. This machine is given a Grade 8-. The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later. The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.
The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the foot controller and some attachments.
