This Singer Featherweight 221K is in great condition, and it was commissioned on December 10th, 1948! Cleaned and serviced inside and out – this 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case. This machine is fitted with an original 220-volt motor that has been rewound to work at 110-volt power with optimum speed and torque. A converter is not needed in the U.S. or Canada. This machine is given a Grade 8-.

The machine features the unique gold ‘S’ Bakelite motor. These rare motors were made in the U.S.A., Canada, and Great Britain, and the ones made in Great Britain were standard issue on most 221K Featherweights from 1947 to 1948. It also features the first faceplate issued on the 221K machines, which has the same scrolled pattern as the 1933-1937 Featherweight 221 machines.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later. The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.
The machine is fitted with an original scrolled faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the attachments.

Returns
Stock is dynamic, and cannot be fully controlled by us because of the involvement of many entities, including the factory as well as our warehouse. This means that the actual stock could alter at any time. It's possible that you may not receive your order once the order has been made.
Our policy runs for 30 days. If you have passed 30 days without a trace since the purchase however, we're unable to give you a refund or exchange.
In order to be eligible for a refund your product must be unopened and in the same condition as when you received it. It must also be returned in its original packaging.
