This Singer Featherweight 221 is absolutely stunning in this ‘Cinderella Blue’ color with gold decals!  Completely restored inside and out – rest assured, this Featherweight 221 will be ready to sew right out of the case.  This machine is fitted with an original 220v motor that has been rewound to work at 110v, so you can plug it in here in the US or Canada without a converter.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the beauty of this machine.

Aside from the gorgeous color, there are a few components of the machine indicating that it was marketed in Sweden: the plaque on the front, the golden “S” motor, and the manual.  This machine is fitted with its original golden “S” 220-volt motor that has been rewound to 110-volt to work at optimum speed and torque, so you can plug it in and begin sewing with effortless power. These distinguishing Swedish components are very hard to find and make this machine collectible as well as beautiful!

‘EH138’ indicates an original commission date of February 29th, 1952.

The Original Bobbin Case is included, adhering to originality all these years later.  The machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cotton, so tension is already properly set; however, tension can easily be adjusted depending on fabric needs.

The machine is fitted with an original striated faceplate and the original case includes the top tray for holding the attachments.
