Singer Featherweight Swedish 221K Sewing Machine, EH371*** The Singer Featherweight Shop

Stunning unique Featherweight in superb condition.  Completely serviced, cleaned, polished, electrically inspected, timed, tuned and sampled – rest assured, this Featherweight 221K will be ready to sew right out of the case.  There are a few components of the machine indicating that it was marketed in Sweden: the plaque on the front, the Bakelite-banded motor with gold writing, and the markings on the light housing.  This machine is fitted with its original 220 volt motor that has been rewound to 110 voltage to work at optimum speed and torque, so you can plug it in and begin sewing with effortless power.  

EH371*** indicates an original production commission date of July 22nd, 1952 and it is given a Grade 8.  Be sure to click on any image above to view the machine for closer detail.  This machine is in great condition with some pin scratches on the bed extension area.

Machine has been serviced and calibrated for quilter’s cottons, so you won’t have to worry about tension when you receive your machine, but having a numbered tension dial will make it easier to set it back should you need to adjust it for any reason.
